Another thing I was not 100% thrilled about- registering for wedding gifts. Y’all are probably like wow- she didn’t like anything! Truth is: I didn’t love being the bride-to-be. I joked I was very anti-bride. Which, for my close friends, this was no surprise. In the end, my attitude worked for me and everyone else because I didn’t really have “bridezilla” moments.
So when it was time to get to my registry, I was kind of overwhelmed. I did it all online and Luke helped with some. I didn’t like the idea of taking a day and going to the store to scan things (I HATE shopping!!!).
Our registry was kind of a mess. I ended up being registered at 4 different places. I was trying to register different price points so I had Target, Williams-Sonoma, Pottery Barn, and Dillard’s. I ended up deleting a lot from the Target registry because there were better options at Williams-Sonoma. I figured these are things we will keep these things forever, so why not get the best! At Dillard’s, we just had crystal on our registry.
If I could do it again I would probably register at Crate & Barrel. After searching my friend Megan’s registry and realizing there are a lot of the same kind of items at better price points; that’s where I will advise y’all to go for all things registry! š
Don’t get me wrong, I love what we have been given off our registry, I just realize it could have been purchased for a cheaper price. I did love all of the personalization options on Williams-Sonoma and Pottery Barn, though!
